your right dude i mean honestly everything you said in the post is completely right on the money..... the newgounds community cares WAAAY to much about whether its sprites, or flash they see a sprite and the automatically post "sprite movies suck!!!" "or go die!!!!" and then rate it zero and move on to the next sprite movie and give it a zero too.
You're correct on everything you said dude. People need to stop bitching about sprite videos and everything else, this is supposed to be a place for a lot of people. Do whatever you wish and people will watch no matter what! So what if people don't like yours or other peoples videos because of use of copyrighted characters that's too damn bad for them. I like your flash videos keep making them. Your a great story teller Dude!

People always have to criticize those who use sprites. Like you said, people start flame wars trying to bring sprite animations down. People can never accept sprites, because it's "stolen", "unoriginal", etc.
Look, for those of you hate sprites, animating with sprites still requires hard work. If you don't like sprite animations, don't post hateful comments/reviews.
I completely agree with you. Though I am not a flash artist myself (or any other type of artist), I can appreciate both original art, and sprites. It's the idea that makes it good or bad. If the idea is worthwhile, it shouldn't really matter.
On another note, just wanted to say I am a huge fan of the "Four Swords Misadventures" series. I can't wait to see what you do with episode 6.
I completely agree with you as a matter of fact since I am what you can call a judge here on NG also in my page here I posted my personal discharge against those type of people. You are correct, sprites are just the little pixels that run across the screen. It's the writing that makes it what it is, a funny series.
Mother loved it by the way.
In my own opinion, just ignore the comments from the simpletons, and just keep doing what you want to. No one has the right to stop you doing something you enjoy, and we all enjoy your work too.
I look forward to seeing FS6 when you get round to it.

I saw one of your responses where you talk about "art vs effort", I don't agree with the fact that it sounds as if art wasn't effort, and I think it is.
I think that flash animators here could be represented in a "balance" rate. If we take, plot, action, humor, animation quality (smoothness), art, voice acting, music selection, etc, we could say that people tend to be good at some things and bad at others, but in the end it should all balance out. For example I know humor isn't one of my strong points, so if I animate, I know I can't rely on it, however I would rely on my artwork since it's what I know I do best.
In your case, and something that many NG users don't understand is that even though your series isn't based on artwork, it has sprites that make it presentable and look nice, and it centers completely on humor and plot progression, in addition, it has some really good voice acting, and the music selection suits the context all the time. So you can say that you meet really good standards for an animation. And you can tell when a sprite animator is good or not, in your case I don't see you leaving white gaps or mispositioned shapes/sprites around, and the characters move at a normal speed.
Hopefully this message will get to those who don't understand your use of sprites, and will let other people know that there's many things to consider other than the plain "this looks pretty" or "why VG parody?".

I do respect peoples work and stuff. But to tell you the truth. You maybe one of the people that inspired me to draw comics, and write stories. Mostly in my comics, its about shy guys. Doing crazy stuff sometimes, and fighting enemies. But if i do buy adobie flash maker soon, i will start making flashes, and i will remeber to say inspired by hadoken_dude, and some friends iknow. But still, you are awesome. And i dont care what those idiots say about your work, its awesome.
