Don't know if you guys noticed, but the plan will be Spike as Red and Badboy as Blue. I think that works out pretty well, since batboy fits the role, and the last guy was a little whiny.
If you're going to make BaldBoy play Blue then you can still keep part of his Red's character by keeping in the sharp tongue. Blue really isn't that memorable of a character, and I'm sure a wise crack every now and then would make him more interesting. He can still be the smart one, of course.
While I can imagine SpikeDaPenguin voicing a sober Red Link in episodes 4 and 7, Baldboy64's voicing of a drunken Red Link was priceless. While each voice actor's versions had their variations, they were quite similar and can be merged nicely. While a short tempered, gung-ho aggressor might seem different than a coward with more bark than bite, remember that there are some people in real life who are aggressive, brutal, and reckless in an effort to be seen as brave and tough yet are cowards underneath the arrogance.
If you still had to make a decision, SpikeDaPenguin should normally voice Red Link while sober, while baldboy64 should be ready to voice Red Link when the character is drunk, drugged, hungover, or under any other ailment that impairs his speech and thought. Another idea would be to use either one as the voice of Dark Link. Red Link and Dark Link have plenty in common: selfishness, need for the spotlight, perversion, and destructive behavior.
I like both interpretations of Red Link. Maybe give Red Link an alter ego or a personality disorder that gives him both voice actors
Personaly I would choose spikedapenguin manly because I prefer the gung-ho short tempered red.

I really prefered BaldBoy64 voice, especially during his depressed time. Spike did well of being a more agressive Red Link, but I'm admitting what think is best. Just please don't change voice actors again or it'll make me confused again.
I just can't believe I DIDN'T notice the differances of the two Red Links before!
