New years message.

Hi again. Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas. Even though the new year is just a few days away, I felt like wishing the NG community a happy new year.

I know it hasn't been a very productive year for me when it comes to flash. This year I was busy studying, had gone through a bit of writer's block and now my PC broke down when I was attempting to repair it (apparently I need to replace my PC's motherboard too). The only computer I'm using right now is my dad's laptop and this means that I might have to start from scratch, that is, if my dad doesn't mind me installing Flash in his computer. My Goku vs. Superman project has now been put on hold indefinitely until I see if i get My PC running again.

As for future Four Swords Misadventures, the script is still in progress, and it's gonna be longer this time since I'll be including story arcs. Animating it, however, will be a problem because I had a huge collection of sprites, sfx and music in my old computer and now I need to search for that stuff all over again. I know sites that have a good collection of sprites and music, yet there will be some sprites and sfx that are going to be hard to find. Still, I will find a way to get the next part ready for you guys, just bare with me here.

well vic,that really brought me down alot i guess.You should checkif you had any programs that allow file sharing liek limewire, or bearshare THOSE are the ones that useally steal operations and programs from computers. thats prob the main cause of it. Also,( i know i sound like some rule guy) be careful what you download NOTHING in teh internet is free. eihter then that good luck i hope you find all of that stuff

Yes indead, Good luck with your computer. But I was wondering if you point out something for me? What program do you use for flash movies(FSM)? And how do I get said program? I already have Adobe 8 I just need the flash program to use.

hey victor, u may not have to look for those sprites and stuff. if the only that was wrong with ur computer was the motherboard, it should all be safe on ur hard drive. i mean worst comes to worst you can slave out your hard drive, or turn it into an external hard drive. you can buy an external casing from a best buy for about 100 maybe 150 bucks. that way you can access everything on the hard drive without installing it in a new system. just please tell me you did not throw it away, then you really would be back at square one.

There's nothing worse than having the PC breaking down, along with all the sprites and stuff you painstakingly found previously. >_<

Nevertheless, I hope that PC of yours will be fixed soon. Take your time with Four Swords Misadventures. I know I can wait. =)

Same if your computer is broken, I hope you start making flash soon, since I Like most of your flash submission, especially 4 sword misadventures, but same you can take your time, Hard work = more time,I'll be waiting till your next flash submission here, on newground and dont give up, ur work is really great!
