I'm sorry to hear this. That trend could easily spread to America too, as all countries now days seem to be overflowing with board soccer moms who have nothing better to do than to find something to blame something on.

I'm sure video games contribute to violence to some degree, just as TV, comics, cartoons, stories (both written and spoken), pictures (drawn and photographed) and conversations between people. So by all means, lets ban all forms of entertainment and communication to save the world.

Oh fuck no, people are peaceful by nature! Thousands of years ago, there was no such thing as killing! Video games and mTV invented it all. Oh yeah and sex is evil, music is the devil and weed makes people kill each other.

Free time is both a blessing and a curse. Before it existed, everyone was too busy working / killing each other to make a fuss about stupid shit. I hope you do move back to the US, at the very least to stave off the loss of video games. Why not go to college here?

I agree with all the above. What is the world seriously coming to? Hey I read you used to live in the US and moved back to your country to help out your family. You and your family should one day move back here I doubt that kind of insanity will ever hit the US. I mean look at other 3rd world countries and their crazy laws against gays and how they want to start killing gays or anyone friends with them.... To me it feels like we're living in the past not in the future still... Unless the economy changes everywhere and people lighten up about things in general such as laws then I fear the worst is yet to come for most of us... :( So I hope the best for you and keep up the great work on your flash videos. =3

When are polatitions going to understand that video games are not the source for violent activity anywhere. Most people who cause these violent crimes have never played video games in their lives, most of them don't even have enough money to buy video games. From what I understand, most of us gamers are not very violent. When we want to be violent, we do it in our games, not in real life cause most of us gamers know that's stupid. I remember when I was in High School. Anyone who wasn't a gamer were the violent ones, while anyone who was a gamer was never causing trouble in the school or anywhere else. Gamers just want to cause violence in our games, if you ask me, banning those games is going to encourage violent behaivior more than the games themselves, cause where are the gamers going to cause their trouble now? Even I have the need to take out my anger on people too, but I'm not going to take it out on a real person, so when I get angry I play Call of Duty, and after a couple of hours of playing, I feel alot better. This is a very bad move on their part, gamers are going to be very violent now, cause they're mad about losing the games they love. They basically put an age limit on games in America, and if kids end up with an M-rated game and if they really do become violent from it, it's the parents fault for buying their 6 year old kid an M-rated game. I still can't believe how many kids I run into on MW2, what they should do is put a ristriction on M-rated games to where you have to be a certain age to have them, and if a minor is caught with an M-rated game, they get fined for it. But seriously, banning violent games is like banning R-rated movies, and that's bad. I would sudgest going on strike, but I don't know anything about the laws in Venezuela, so I don't know if going on strike is allowed. My other sudgestion is to move back to Florida. Good luck to ya man, I hope they dont ban Zelda too. :(

Are you Cereal? Damn. My brother has shelves FILLLED with bloody shooting games, and he's a nice ol' guy in a small apartment with a job as a banker.

I watch the Investigation Discovery channel a lot, and the most common reasons for crimes, are Greed, Jealousy, and Affairs. And most people are from bad childhoods, not from childhoods spent playing games where you steal a guy's car after pointing a gun to his head.
